"Blacks Can’t Do Soul Records Anymore!"

Black music has shifted to a more pop cultured based sound over the years, and acclaimed producer, The Dream, isn’t blind to the transition. In an interview with British magazine, The Guardian, The Dream tells the reporter that “Blacks can’t do soul records anymore”. He goes on to say that “we love Adele singing it, but Beyonce singing it? No, the tempo’s too slow, gimme the club hit”.
