With cool weather fast approaching, it’s not too early to start planning how you will stay warm this winter. American and European designers offer numerous options with their fall and winter collections, and some of those choices include luxurious fur. Chado Ralph Rucci showcased a number of ensembles that feature fur, including a Persian lamb pantsuit and a skirt ensemble with sable collar and cuffs. There were plenty of glamorous fur coats––such as Ruffian’s knee-length, chocolate-hued coat with oversized coyote collar––but also fun tunics and vests and bolero jackets and bomber jackets, as featured in collections from Baby Phat and Atil Kutoglu. And, of course, for those who prefer faux fur, there were fashionable choices as well, including Tracy Reese’s cropped jacket worn over glittery attire. So regardless of whether you want to update your dressy outerwear wardrobe or simply add fun to your everyday and weekend coverups, there is just the right fur for you.
