Olympic gold medal winner Gabby Douglas' phenomenal performance drew the attention of more than a few celebrities yesterday. Throughout Douglas' flawless routines on the balance beam and uneven bars, former US Olympian gymnast Dominique Dawes represented for the "Flying Squirrel" by tweeting her excitement and anticipation. In the end, she tweeted, "Gabby won it all!!!!!She's made history!"

Comedian and media mogul Steve Harvey took a moment to shout out Gabby, tweeting,"Congrats to our girl @gabrielledoug! #HistoricMoment #Olympics." Of course, a tweet from Mr. President to the entire gymnastics team was in order, seeing as he had already called the gymnast earlier this week with advice to "keep it cool." "Congratulations! You’ve made us all proud. #TeamUSA." Oprah Winfrey commented on Gabby's outstanding performance as well, tweeting, "Go gabby go!"

Additional big names who name-dropped Douglas throughout the competition included:
