ABC is adding to its comedy pilot pickups, handing out a cast-contingent order to a semi-autobiographical comedy based on the life of Kevin Hart.

After picking up the project with a put-pilot commitment in October, the half-hour comedy project is based on the red-hot comedian's stand-up act. The project, from former Community EPs Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan, takes a candid look at the post-divorce life of a couple trying to forge a friendship for the sake of their kids, despite their differences.

Hart doesn't plan to star but likely will play a recurring role if the series goes forward.
