Sunday, Vice President Joe Biden was the guest on “Meet the Press,” and got frank about his stance on gay marriage. America's second-in-charge told host David Gregory, “I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women, and heterosexual men and women marrying another are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties,” he said. Adding, ”Quite frankly, I don’t see much of a distinction beyond that.”

As media outlets buzzed about where his strong convictions came from, Biden’s comments may allude to the all-inclusive direction Obama will take for his re-election campaign.
