When Jay-Z arrived in Philadelphia to champion his latest musical event, no one expected him to stay and talk politics. Sitting down with CNN's Poppy Harlow on Monday, Brooklyn's own chimed in on President Barack Obama's support of same-sex marriage—even echoing the same sentiment. "What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That's their business."

His most fiery comment came when he compared the LGBT community's strife to that of the Civil Rights movement, saying, "It's discrimination plain and simple. It's no different than discriminating against Blacks."
