What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
As a Campus Queen, I have been able to make a sustainable impact on the women on my campus and in the community through programs and community services. I have been a Campus Queen for the past three years, and in my third year I was able to become Miss Bowie State University. I have hosted over 40 programs and community services throughout my three years serving in the campus queen role. At the beginning of this semester, I hosted a program entitled "Bowie Girl Magic" for our freshman women. I gave them "I Am A Bowie Woman" affirmations, and we recited positive words of reassurance and comfort in accepting who they are. The same women have held onto these affirmations and continue to recite them daily and have admitted to me the affirmations encourage them to get through their days. I truly love empowering the women on my campus and assisting the community any way I can.
