What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
My most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen is the St. Jude initiative. Growing up, I always saw commercials about the children at St. Jude Research Hospital who are fighting cancer and I wished that one day I'd be able to help. My big day was September 11th and what makes it even better is that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month! I started this fundraiser July 2017. Having a love for healthcare, a passion for helping others, and with this initiative being a financial goal in my platform as Miss GSU to show that Grambling cares and "Pays it Forward", I dedicated my 21st birthday to the children of St. Jude. This objective will continue throughout my reign through activities and projects until the ultimate goal of $10,000 is reached. Being a student leader or Campus Queen is not only about impacting the lives of those on campus, but in the community and entire world as well.
