What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
Since stepping on Howard University's campus, I have been immersed into the world of queendom. From first being crowned as Miss Freshman, to representing my fellow classmates as Miss School of Business, and now Miss Howard University; I have taken careful notes and waited patiently for my turn to reign.
One pillar that I have made it my mission to instill in my fellow students is the art of confidence. From programs to panels and speeches, I aim to teach all poise, grace, and most of all confidence. My most memorable contribution as a campus queen can be seen in my Etiquette Dinner that I hosted. After over a month of planning, I was able to provide students at my school a plated dinner where we went over dinner conversation, how to dress for the occasion, and most of all had fun as fellow Bison.
Dale Carnegie once said, "Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy." As a campus queen, I aim to continue to use my platform to empower women and build self confidence in all, one step at a time.
