The extracurricular activities that I am involved in are serving as a mentor to freshman girls on campus and also assist with tutoring and helping students that are struggling academically. Over my years here at Central State University, I served as an resident advisor for 2 years, Served as the Student Government Association Vice President, served the community and student body. I am delighted to now hold the position as Ms. Central State University. Humbling serving as the Queen of my beautiful institution is only exemplifying the great things Central State University has done for me. I have grown as a woman, professional and leader. I will forever be indebted to this university.
My career goals are to work as a news anchor or TV personality. I have always aspired to be a reporter for CNN. I will not stop until I have completed this goal. I have gotten the chance to intern and radio stations, news stations and take course to perfect my craft. I am ecstatic to see where my hard work will take me. There are just not enough black women in the industry to show off our excellence. My goal is to change that and help other black women get their chance to be in this field.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
"My most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen is seeing the impact that I have on all the girls on campus. I have grown so many great relationships with the students and shows how all my hard work rubs off on them. I stepped out of my comfort zone when I ran for this great position. It is so refreshing to know that the title will only last a year but the impact will last forever. My goal is to welcome everyone. Wilberforce University is our neighboring school, I am honored to have such a great bond with Ms. Wilberforce University and her court. These leadership positions are bigger than the title. It is the hard work, dedication, sweat, tears that you put into your craft. I will leave my mark on this campus and set the standard for the queens to come to exceed me in everything I ever did. My most memorable contribution is Setting the foundation for others to succeed and stepping behind to let them shine!"
