Year in School: Senior
Major/Minor: Human Ecology/Fashion Merchandising
Expected Graduation: 2019
Extracurricular Activities:
I am currently serving as the 50th Miss University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I also volunteer as a Hawk Ambassador for my University, and help with tours and recruitment. I am a member of the Kappa Omicron Nu Honor's Society, and also the Events Manager for The Human Ecology Club on my campus."
Career Goals:
My career goal is to become a Fashion Professor at a University. Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of being some type of educator. I also worked in a daycare setting for 4 years, which enhanced my dreams. I want to start off in Elementary schools and work my way up, so that I am fully prepared. I also love the college environment, and being able to help educate the youth.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
Thus far, my most memorable moment as a Campus Queen happened this week! I had my first event as Miss called ""So What's The Scoop?"" with Ice cream in one of the most popular female freshman dorms. This was an open discussion that I had with the female freshman class, just to implement the same characteristics embedded in me to help my fellow hawks soar. Being able to talk in front of a group of freshman females was wonderful, but being able to actually relate to them and actually open their minds was amazing! The event turned out great, and I actually want to do another one, just so they have a great leader to look after because soon they will be running the University.
