I have been heavily involved during my tenure at UAPB. I started off as a volunteer student mentor (2016-2017) for the Office of Recruitment and I tutored English for TRIO Student Support Services (2017.) I have served as Miss Junior (2018-2019) and secretary of Circle of PRiDE (2018-2019.) I am a proud member of Honors College, NAACP UAPB College Chapter, Essence of a Woman, and Twisted Kreations Modeling Team. I also write for THE ARKANSAWYER (UAPB Newspaper.)
I aspire to be an immigration lawyer to advocate for minorities in America and to hopefully one day edit for a major New York publication. I also see myself writing books and encouraging people to explore their God-given gifts.
What is your most memorable contribution as a Campus Queen?:
With my platform "Breaking Barriers | Bridging the Gaps" I was able to connect with a lot of students on campus through my experiences. During my campaign, I had students fill out index cards with internal barriers they struggled with, which were all confidential and I had a social media balloon release that was symbolic to releasing the barriers people deal with on a regular basis.
