It is an honor to be afforded the opportunity to serve as Miss Bowie State University. I believe it takes humility and a heart of servitude to be a true campus queen. Within my platform entitled 'Fearless' I wanted to create an initiative to uplift the self-esteem of young girls while introducing them to a higher educational experience at my university. Thus, Bowie State University's Princess of the Game was launched. This initiative recognizes the academic and extra-curricular achievements of young girls in the community. The result of this initiative has left a positive impact on the girls and allows me to leave a legacy that will prayerfully remain long after I graduate. My most memorable contribution is encouraging these girls to remain on the path of excellence and positivity. It was a pleasure to see the smiles on my little Princess™ faces as the students, faculty and fans of Bowie State got behind this initiative and cheered while giving these young girls standing ovations for their achievements during half time of each home game. As a Queen I have and will continue to evoke change by uplifting the community and encouraging others to reach their highest potential.
