Most memorable contribution as a Campus QueenI had the pleasure to speak to a group of young girls about living the Christian life without feeling ashamed or un-cool. Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A Wright spoke to my school and said, "Different is not deficient". But our generation sees anything that is "different", as in the wrong way. I advised them to live life the way they believe it's right without letting the media influence them so much; to believe in their dream and not allow anybody or any situation to change it. Also the effect I have on different people’s life through my words and/or action. I always keep in mind, people will forget what you tell them but they won’t forget how you made them feel. I receive numerous Facebook messages from different young girls acknowledging the effect I have in their life, or student who told me I helped them stop smoking. There are no words to really describe how I feel when I hear things like that, it humbles me and push me to continue being an aspiration to others.
