50 Cent entered the hip-hop industry with the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ mentality. He elevated his status as a mogul by venturing  into acting, TV production and partnering with companies in large endorsement deals. After inking a deal for Le Chemin Du Roi, an emerging champagne company, 50 announced a new liquor partnership with  Branson, a French Cognac, according to XXL.

The Queens native made the big reveal on his Instagram account Wednesday night through a series of posts. In his first post, he posed with a few bottles of the dark liquor with the caption, “KING KONG ain’t got s**t on me !!!! Cognac anyone,🥃 #getthebag💰.” In the following post, he revealed that the cognac would be his new business endeavor. “What you thought l was doing in France fool. l went to get the work,l got da plug get wit me. BRANSON Brown the finest cognac around. #getthestrap,” he wrote.

50 Cent was in France earlier this year touring cognac facilities. The trademark for Branson Cognac is owned by Sire Spirits, LLC, a business that worked with the rapper to promote Effen Vodka.
