In the latest "Beefs You Didn't See Coming," Star Jones and Anderson Cooper exchanged some heated words and accusations on television this past week. The former co-host of  "The View" had recently spoken out about Cooper's publicly coming out, claiming that the CNN news star had done so in order to boost his ratings. Cooper then used an interview with Bravo's Andy Cohen to share his side of things.

"If I was wanting to boost ratings, I would have waited to announce it on A Very Special Episode that would have been promo'd for weeks and weeks and there would have been commercials," the silver fox told Cohen.  He then continued on to point out the hypocrisy of Jones' accusation, bringing up controversy that many believe lead to her being kicked off "The View."

"As memory serves, in terms of boosting ratings, I seem to recall [Star] hocking her wedding every single day to get free products when she was on "The View" and I seem to recall her lying about her gastric bypass surgery and making everybody else lie about it as well. So for her to suddenly emerge out of the shadows and suddenly attack me for this, I couldn't believe it," he told Cohen. "I would think she would want as much publicity as possible given her penchant for wanting publicity," Cooper added, referring to Jones' declining his recent invitation to have her on his show.
