[THIS HAPPENED] Atlanta âHousewivesâ Still Have Beef and Will and Jada Wonât Stop Talking

Kenya Moore and Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith

1. The fifth season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" wrapped this week, but fortunately for show producers, the cast members are already doing their part to create more friction to capture on camera. Through her Bravo blog, Kenya Moore denied rumors that she was sexting Phaedra Parks’ hubby, Apollo Nida, by accusing Phaedra of being a criminal. Kenya kicked off her rant by writing, “I stand firm in my opinion that Apollo is a nice guy who happens to be in a bad situation.”

Kenya went on to allege: “Phaedra will never be the smartest woman in the room if I’m also present. She’s obsessed with trying to hurt me but she will continue to lose that battle in perpetuity. With her alleged illegal dealings and random and ridiculous business ventures, she is not only a proven liar, an embarrassment to her family, as well as the laughing stock of the law industry.” [sic]

Kenya ended the post with, “I wish Apollo all the best.” Now twirl. [Bravo]

2. Meanwhile, Kenya’s cast mate and Thelma from "Good Times" look-alike, Porsha Stewart, told People magazine that all her cast mates reached out to her after word of husband Kordell Stewart filing for divorce. Porsha also says she’ll be returning “back to that independent woman who makes decisions on her own.” As for the breakup, "This is not something that I wanted. But at the end of the day I feel there has to be a bigger blessing in this. ... There has to be something great for Porsha in the future." That’s right, Kordell, she’s not gon’ cry, it’s not the time, ‘cause you were never worth her tears. [People]

3. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith continue to share their philosophy on everything despite no formal request for them to. In a new interview, Will explained why if Jaden decides to do something without permission, he doesn’t sit him in a corner, ask him to cut a switch, or change the password on the wi-fi. Why?

The Fresh Prince explained: “We don’t do punishment. The way that we deal with our kids is, they are responsible for their lives. Our concept is, as young as possible, give them as much control over their lives as possible and the concept of punishment, our experience has been — it has a little too much of a negative quality. So when they do things — and you know, Jaden, he’s done things — you can do anything you want as long as you can explain to me why that was the right thing to do for your life.”

Gold star for you, I guess. That said, riddle me this, Batman: If they take issue with people giving their unsolicited opinions about their family and their ways, why do they continue to volunteer so much information? [Necole Bitchie]

4. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Da Baddest, Trina, whose younger brother, Willbrent ‘Gonk’ Bain, was gunned down in broad daylight on Tuesday morning in her hometown of Miami. According to reports, ‘Gonk’ was shot after a heated dispute with his longtime friend, Rob Dobson. Following his arrest and being read his Miranda rights, Miami-Dade Police said the 27-year-old confessed to his involvement in the victim’s death. [Miss Jia]

5. Former Fugees star and accused tax evader, Lauryn Hill, has two weeks to give Uncle Sam his ends or face possible jail time. After giving her a stern talking to, a judge agreed to allow Ms. Hill until May 6 to put a dent in her $968,000 tax debt. According to Hill’s lawyers, she’s about to take out a loan to cover a sizable portion of her tax bill, plus she signed a million dollar record contract with Sony. Does that mean we’ll get some music in the near future? I’d bet on another posthumous ‘Pac album to drop first, but what do I know? I’m still waiting for a third D’Angelo album. [TMZ]

6. Though we didn’t even see the back of her neck on the first episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," Rasheeda is still a part of the show. And yes, she still can’t stand K. Michelle. Speaking with Cocoa Fab, Rasheeda says of her co-star, “I think she just needs some guidance.  She needs help. What it’s like with her is like she done woke up and fell out the bed and bumped her head and now she’s thinking about Rasheeda again. She’s just that kind of person.” As for K. Michelle’s talk of her quitting the popular series, “I really can’t call it because I know there are things called contracts and you can’t just quit.” One time for Ms. Bubble Gum, y’all. [Cocoa Fab]

7. Ciara may no longer want to talk about Rihanna, but
