Last night, Basketball Wives Reality star, Tami Roman suffered a mild heart attack. Roman, who is 41 years old, was admitted to the Cedars- Sinai Medical Center for a medical emergency according to a statement from her publicist, posted on VH1.com.
“She has since been released and would like to let her fans and supporters know she is doing fine and looks forward to resuming her scheduled engagements,” the release said.
At an appearance the night before, Roman appeared “under the weather”, according to VH1. Roman also tweeted later that night that she was “not feeling so well”, but she in no way mentioned any chest pains or other symptoms that normally foretell a heart attack.
Last night, Roman took to twitter to confirm her health scare and send a special thank you to her fans:
“Thx 2every1 for the get well wishes. Never thought I’d have a mild heart attack at 41. God has a way of bringing things into perspective. Finally going home 2my kids- heart meds and all.”
Roman has appeared on VH1’s hit show, Basketball Wives for the last two seasons and has recently revealed to viewers about her traumatizing past, suffering rape and her anger management issues.
