Remy Ma Coming Home Soon

Back in 2008, Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting her former “friend,” Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach over some missing loot. (I’d hate to be her homegirl and owe her money.) Anywho, her days behind bars are about to end, because after serving six years in the pen, Miss Trigger-Happy’s thugaboo boyfriend—the underground rapper Papoose—announced earlier this month that his “bitch” (direct quote) is coming home in July at a concert in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is usually where I would make a smart-ass remark, but I don’t want no problems.

Mrs. Carter Tour Makes Beyoncé the Highest-Paid Black Musician of All Time

(Uh oh, I feel another arrogant anthem coming on. “Bow Down Pt. 2”?)

Jada Pinkett Smith and Halle Berry Snag New Roles for 2014

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jada Pinkett Smith on the big or small screen—and well, a little less than a year for Halle Berry—but our favorite MILFs ’90s stars are back in action. On Wednesday, Jada broke news to her Facebook fans that she’ll be tackling the role of “sadistic villain” Fish Mooney in Fox TV’s new Batman prequel series, Gotham. And after four years of waiting for Halle’s Frankie & Alice, the film is set to hit theaters April 4! But that’s not all: Drake’s fantasy babymama will be getting more of that X-Men guap with her resurrection of Storm in their Days of Future Past installment (hitting theaters May 23). Go ladies!
