There is no stopping Marvel’s Black Panther.

The superhero flick was the number one movie at the North American box office bringing in $27 million this past weekend. It is the first movie since Avatar to be at the top of the domestic box office for five straight weeks.

Black Panther was able to hold off the Tomb Raider remake starring Alicia Vikander, which brought in $23.5 million.

The movie is now the seventh movie at the domestic box office to top $600 million. It is poised to pass The Avengers as the highest grossing superhero movie of all time, according to Box Office Mojo.
