A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman Break Off Engagement

Hip-hop’s favorite fashion couple has sadly booked a one-way flight to Splitsville. Harlem’s sultan of swag A$AP Rocky and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Chanel Iman have reportedly called off their six-month engagement and relationship of more than one year. “They are no longer together,” a source told E! News. “This happened about a few weeks ago. It was just not working out with both of their busy travel schedules. Time away from each other played a big part in the breakup.” Rocky, 26, and Iman, 23, have reportedly split amicably. “They don’t have any hard feelings,” the source added. “[They] only want the best for each other in the long run.”

T-Pain Throws Shade At Kanye West’s Auto-Tune Use

Who would’ve thought we’d still be talking about Auto-Tune in 2014? Welp, T-Pain is still claiming king of the vocal manipulation software that Jay Z denounced five years ago, in the process snubbing the other half of the throne, Kanye West. According to Pain, there’s levels to Auto-Tune. “Kanye uses it, but he doesn’t use it correctly,” the 29-year-old Tallahassee native told HuffPost Live, citing his own Auto-Tune disciples Chris Brown and Jamie Foxx as proper examples. “[Kanye] sings without it first and then he puts [Auto-Tune] on after he’s done with the vocals. You don’t know how it’s going to come out. You can’t catch your mistakes before they happen. So sometimes it gets a little bit wobbly and things like that.” But the stripper-loving singer—whose T-Pain Presents Happy Hour: The Greatest Hits drops November 4—doesn’t deny all of Yeezy’s robotic warblings. He give his props where due, with a dash of petty. “[808s & Heartbreak] was actually good,” he adds, “but I had a lot to do with that album.”

Wesley Snipes Nabs a Role in Bank Robber Remake Film

A year-and-a-half after his release from prison, Wesley Snipes’s big-screen presence has been a bit underwhelming. But that may be changing with the 52-year-old actor’s next role in the 1961 crime-drama remake, Five Minutes to Live. The film stars Snipes as Johnny Cabot, a thief who flees the big city after a botched jewelry heist and links with another criminal named Miles Black to rob a small-town bank (and hold the bank manager’s wife hostage). Following 2013’s The Expendables, it’ll be Snipes second role after serving three years in prison for willful failure to file federal income tax returns.
