Alicia Keys Joins Pharrell’s Team as Advisor on The Voice

Alicia Keys may be preggers again, but that’s not about to stop homegirl from her getting her TV time. Supermommy will be lending her musical knacks as a celebrity advisor to Pharrell Williams’s team of talent on NBC’s The Voice for its upcoming seventh season. (Let’s just hope we don’t see her jumping on any more pianos like she did when she was carrying baby Egypt.) The new season kicks off September 22 at 8pm, so we’ll just have to wait and see. (Shrugs.) Kudos to Alicia!

(Or I should say Kyle ’bow-throwing and Sisqo getting tossed like a rag doll?) Still no explanation as to why the two were fighting, but from the looks of things, they won’t be doing any duets anytime soon.

Chance the Rapper to Headline the 2014 Verge Campus Fall Tour

He’s been busting out festivals all summer, but now Chance the Rapper is ready to get buck with America’s crazy college kids as the headlining act for the 2014 Verge Campus fall tour. Hitting college campuses all over the States, the tour takes off on September 26 at Cal Poly Pomona and concludes on October 26 at West Virginia University. Travis Scott and Jason Derulo are among some of the special guests scheduled to join Chance in the beer-kegging and crowd-surfing. (Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re able to throw a few wet T-shirt contests in there too.) So to all you wild little university ruffians: get ready!
