Shucks! Jay Z and Beyoncé Are Only the World’s Second Highest-Paid Celebrity Couple

Beyoncé and Jay Z rank high on Forbes’s World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples 2015 list, but the combined $110.5 million they made in the past year isn’t enough to lock down the no. 1 spot. The Carters came in second this year, behind Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’s ridiculous $146 million earnings. Forbes cites Jayoncé’s joint tour as a major bump in their bank statements.

“The pair, who recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, collaborated this year for their co-headlined On the Run tour, which was the fifth highest grossing excursion of 2014, despite only playing 22 shows in our scoring period,” Forbes wrote. Excuse me while I go buy lunch with these four rolls of nickels.

Kanye West Compares Young Thug to Bob Marley, Wants to Collaborate on an Album

Weezy may not be Young Thug’s biggest fan, but Yeezy has apparently taken a liking to the hip-hop ATLien. Birdman’s latest coup recently spoke with Rolling Out and revealed that he and Kanye West have had at least one conversation about collaborating on a full project. “We [were] backstage at one of the tour dates at the Staples Center in L.A. and Kanye was backstage,” Thugger recalls of a tour stop with Travi$ Scott. “He had a Beats Pill and was like, ‘I wanna hear all of your music in the world that’s not out.’ So I was letting him hear all the music. Then he said I was like Bob Marley and he wanted to do an album with me. I was like, ‘Let’s roll!’ ”

Whether Young Thug actually evokes the spirit of the greatest reggae singer to ever inhale the aroma of God’s green ganja is questionable, at best. But if Kanye—who executive produced Tyga’s spanking-new The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty—does go on to work with Thugger on a full project, can they please title it The Bollege Dropout? Or at least Bruel Summer?
