James Harden Denies Knowledge of Lil B or “The Curse,” Gets Exposed by Kreayshawn

NBA fans, keep it a buck: the Houston Rockets were outmatched in this year’s Western Conference Finals, receiving a quick 4-1 fade by Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. But there was a looming presence over the series: rapper Lil B’s Based God curse on James Harden (retribution for the shooting guard’s alleged borrowing of his “cooking dance” for in-game celebrations without acknowledgement). Harden stayed quiet about the so-called curse until TMZ recently ran up on him with cameras rolling. “I don’t even know who that is,” he said when asked about Lil B and his curse.

Well, the lie detector test determined that was a lie. “Gucci Gucci” rapper Kreayshawn (remember her? Basically Iggy before Iggy) dug up a retweet from 2011 in which Harden references the kooky Oakland rapper. Womp. B, who said he was lifting the curse following this postseason, responded, saying he may extend the curse’s duration: “Shouts out to kreayshawn @KREAYSHAWN @JHarden13 for uncovering facts about James harden i may push for the curse for his lying.” Harden’s former teammate Kevin Durant has been cursed by Lil B since 2011.

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube Named Co-Defendants in Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Suge Knight

Former Death Row rappers Dr. Dre and Ice Cube are once again tangled up in Suge Knight’s mess. The two Cali legends have been named as co-defendants in a lawsuit against Knight, who struck actor Terry Carter with a vehicle at Tam’s Burgers earlier this year, killing him. Wondering how, Sway? Well, Carter’s widow alleges that Universal Studios was negligent in continuing to film Straight Outta Compton after Dre warned production to keep Knight away. Cube and Dre allegedly hired Cle “Bone” Sloan as an advisor on the film—he helped negotiate deals with gang members to allow the movie to film in Compton. Sloan’s fight with Suge allegedly led to the fatal hit-and-run. Dre’s lawyer called the charges “preposterous,” according to the AP.
