Nicki Minaj’s Enlists Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Drake for New Single, “Only”

Nicki Minaj has gone for dolo on the lead records from her long-awaited The Pink Print album. But for the third single from her third album, Barb has enlisted some top-tier backup. Nicki dropped the artwork for her next release, “Only,” revealing that Chris Brown will co-star alongside Young Money’s finest, Drake and Lil Wayne. The illustrated artwork depicts a dominatrix Nicki Minaj dressed in all black (like The Omen…), while a suited Lil Wayne plays the back next to Drake, who rocks some, uh, interesting headwear branded with the YM logo. “Only” drops tomorrow (Oct. 28), less than a month before the hip-hop goddess paints the town pink on November 24 with her anticipated album.

Director Justin Simien Wants to Bring Dear White People to TV

Dear White people: Are you ready to see Justin Simien’s racial satire on small screens? No matter—if the breakout director has his way, Dear White People will have its own television adaptation. “I’m trying to get Dear White People on TV… I think TV is ready for it,” Simien said on The Madd Hatta Morning Show on Houston’s 97.9 The Box. “We need A Different World for our generation.” A series for the 31-year-old auteur’s hit film isn’t the only major dream he has in mind. Simien says he’d like to work with 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong’o in the future. “She brings something really new and interesting to Hollywood,” he says. “I’d like to see what she’s doing next.”
