Nicki Minaj Drops “Pills N Potions”

As promised, Nicki Minaj released the first official single from The Pink Print today, called “Pill N Potions.” If you’re like me, you probably expected a hardbody beat paired with some gritty bars like what we heard on “Lookin Ass.” But the life-sized Barbie opted to take a softer, more personable approach on this track. (Some of you may feel a little hoodwinked with the poppish nature of the single, considering how Nicki vowed to keep this new album strictly hip-hop. Oh well.) Nonetheless, the song carries a commendable message of grace and forgiveness, so I guess she gets a pass.

Will and Jada Under Investigation By Child Protective Services?

Earlier this month, Willow Smith’s controversial photo (where she’s pictured in bed with 20-year-old, shirtless actor Moises Arias) not only raised a few brows, but had people questioning Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s parenting skills. Jada slammed photographers at LAX not too long after the flick hit the ’net, saying there was “nothing sexual” about the photo and calling everyone who thought otherwise “covert pedophiles.” But the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services might not be all that convinced—at least that’s word on the street.

The child services organization supposedly opened up an investigation into the matter last week, and is supposed to carry on with snoop sessions for at least a month. Social workers not only want to grill Willow and her parents, but Arias is up for interrogation too. We can only hold out to see if there’s any truth to this story, but hopefully this teaches the 13-year-old to stay out of grown boys’ beds.
