Teigen shared the picture on her Instagram account with the caption “Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens – We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love.” The singer also shared the photo on his account.

Just days after the supermodel gave birth, Legend was spotted on the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards where he revealed the inspiration behind the name they chose for their son, according to People. “We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens; every name we give our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it. So Miles is, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis,” the Grammy Award-winning singer told E! on the carpet.

“Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together as Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out, and we hung out with him for a little while we were like, ‘Yeah, he looks like a Miles,’ ” Legend explained. Teigen poked fun at the backlash she often receives as a working mom by hilariously blasting her husband for being away from their newborn just three days after his birth. “Didn’t [you] just have a baby John? smh go take care of it,” she wrote under an image of him at the award show.

The couple announced the birth of Miles last Wednesday with a Twitter status that read, “Somebody’s herrrrrrre!” Congratulations to the new bundle of joy and the growing family. The parents have an older daughter, 2-year-old Luna.
