For the third consecutive year, Erykah Badu will be holding it down as host of the 2017 Soul Train Awards. The proud Texan will also be producing and writing for the telecast.

As per usual, the broadcast will honor two R&B artists who have made a lasting impression on the genre. Toni Braxton will receive the Don Cornelius Legend Award and female R&B trio SWV will be honored with the Lady of Soul Award, handed off by last year’s recipient, Brandy.

Solange Knowles leads the pack in nominations with a total of seven, including Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, Video of the Year and Song of the Year for hit single “Cranes in the Sky.”

Bruno Mars comes in a close second with six nods of his own, including Song of the Year for his hit single “That’s What I Like,” and Album/Mixtape of the Year for 24K Magic. Other notable nods include Cardi B’s debut hit “Bodak Yellow” nominated for Rhythm & Bars Award, competing against Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble.”

Viewers can also look forward to performances from Tamar Braxton, 112, Tank and Kirk Franklin and more.

BET Presents: 2017 Soul Train Awards will air on BET and BET HER on Nov. 26 at 8p.m. ET.
