It was an extremely rough and volatile weekend for New Jersey rapper, Fetty Wap.

Wap, real name Willie Maxwell, was robbed Sunday morning by three masked men in Paterson, NJ, and was stripped of his cash and signature 1738 chain. Shooting soon followed, leaving three people with non-life-threatening wounds.

According to the Paterson Press, Maxwell was not injured.

The Paterson Deputy Police Chief confirmed that Fetty Wap and several of his friends were involved in the shooting, which happened shortly after 5 a.m. at a deli. The chief also confirmed that the rapper and his friends are not suspects in the shooting nor the robbery.

NJ.com reports that Raheem Thomas has been arrested without incident in connection to the shooting. He has since been charged with aggravated assault and three weapons possession offenses.
