The Olympics may be over, but that has not stopped Gabby Douglas from inspiring the masses. A massive mural of the 16-year-old gold medalist has been created in Virginia Beach, her hometown. The idea came to local artist Todd Lindbergh as he watched Gabby at her medal's ceremony. Motivated by the "Flying Squirrel's" awesome accomplishments, Todd and his brother Eric spent four days creating the 9-by-30 foot mural that features Douglas' winning smile, along with her gold medal, and a waving American flag in the backdrop.

No one was more amped about the dedication than the young gymnast herself. "WOW!!! This is amazing!! (hashtag)so honored," she tweeted on Friday while still in London.
