If there were any lingering thoughts that we are living in a post-racial society, they can all be tossed out. It seems that under the current presidency, bigotry is showing its ugly face freely and without a second thought.

And it targets every class.

While in Croatia, actor and comedian Jamie Foxx was eating at a restaurant when he suddenly became the target of racial slurs, reports the Daily News.

Croatian police received reports of “particularly arrogant and rude” insults were made against restaurant guests. Police have since filed disorderly conduct charges against two people who were allegedly involved in making the racial slurs. Whether or not charges will be filed, is still under police investigation.

In a post-and-delete message on Instagram, Foxx addressed the situation and made note of some the terms that were used against him.

The multi-talented entertainer was in Dubrovnik, a resort on the Adriatic Sea, filming Robin Hood: Origins, when the incident took place.

And while his post describing the controversial treatment in Croatia is no longer on his page, he did share a more positive experience. Watch below.
