Janet Jackson is headed back on tour, and it looks like she also might be headed to our television screens. The 51-year old superstar just had a gorgeous new baby, Eissa, and after splitting from her husband Wissam Al Mana, Ms. Jackson is looking to get back in touch with her fans.

Word on the street is that the legend is currently in talks with Netflix to do a 10-part reality series. Apparently, the Netflix series will truly be an insiders look into the Unbreakable singer’s daily life. It is said to include footage of recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Al Mana and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Apparently, Netflix is ready to fork over a hefty sum for the series, because it will obviously be must-watch TV.

Still, a docu-series does seem a bit out of the norm for Jackson. However, a source explained, “Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago.” Most recently, the Rhythm Nation icon has been extremely open, sharing the sweetest photo of her 5-month old son and being pretty blunt about her separation from Al Mana.
