Jhené Aiko’s latest single, ‘Never Call Me,’ is so close to the Angelino’s heart that she was driven to create not one but two videos for the slow groove.

The first vid finds Aiko portraying the Japanese Shinto goddess of creation and death who acts out a funeral for ex’s ego, according to her Q&A with Refinery 29.

“The funeral is for a man I knew personally. A man who lost his way. This funeral is the funeral for his ego. In this visual, I portray the goddess of creation and death, coming to collect his poor spirit and set it free.”

The second clip finds Aiko back on familiar territory, running the Slauson streets she grew up on while hanging out with family and friends such as Nipsey Hussle, Hit-Boy, Lauren London and featured artist, Kurupt.
