Joyner Lucas’ ‘I’m Not Racist’ Brutally Addresses America’s Divide

Contrary to what certain “Rockstar” rappers think, hip-hop continues to be a vessel of progressive thought and expression, with Joyner Lucas using his skills as an MC to brutally address the growing racial divide within the U.S.

His latest song, “I’m Not Racist,” and its video have spread like wildfire for their uncensored discussion of race in America from the perspective of a Trump supporter and then himself.

The video addresses the disconnect between Blacks and Whites as well as conservative vs. liberal ideologies. Watch it in full below.

Lucas is known for music with a message, once starring as a crooked cop in his video for “Winter Blues,” which dealt heavily with police brutality.
