Last Friday (September 22), the New Orleans songstress Ledisi released her eighth studio album, Let Love Rule.

Executive produced by the singer and her longtime collaborator Rex Rideout, the 15-track project incorporates new and old vibes driven by Ledisi’s signature vocals while also highlighting her evolution as an artist. Following her latest single, “Us 4Ever,” featuring BJ the Chicago Kid, the album also includes a song that features John Legend, “Give You More,” and interlude contributions from Iyanla Vanzant and Soledad O’Brien.

Let Love Rule boasts of a myriad of sounds, from ’70s soul music to the rhythms of her N’awlins upbringing. But one thing remains constant across the board: Ledisi’s vocals are untouchable. Tune into the project below and allow the nine-time Grammy-nominated vocalist to take you on a journey of love, life and happiness.

Ledisi will also be touring this fall, co-headlining The Rebel, The Soul & The Saint Tour with gospel singer Kirk Franklin. Kicking off on October 25 in Oakland, Calif., the 27-city tour will come to a close on December 2 in Richmond, Va. Purchase your tickets here.
