Marlon Wayans has a lot to celebrate right now. The comedic talent not only has the NBC series Marlon, but he also recently snagged his own Netflix stand-up special.

The Wayans brother will film his routine this fall in Washington, D.C., according to TheHollywoodReporter. Wayans, Rick Alvarez, Steve Harris and 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg are set to produce.

In the meantime, you can catch the funnyman on his nationwide The Reintroduction tour. He’s also featured in the Netflix original movie Naked. A take on the Bill Murray classic Groundhog Day, Naked finds Rob Anderson (Wayans) repeatedly waking up nude in an elevator on the day of his wedding.

Wayans joins a host of comics who decided on Netflix as their platform of choice, including Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Tracy Morgan, Louis C.K. and Jerry Seinfeld.

The family man recently shared his thoughts on the state of politics, specifically that LeBron James was correct in calling President Donald Trump a “bum” after insulting comments made toward Steph Curry and calling out “son of a bitch” football players for taking a knee.

This isn’t the first time the 45-year-old has called out the controversial leader, telling TMZ in January that his election proves “anybody can be f***ing president.”
