Did Nicki Minaj Steal “Lookin’ Ass Ni**a” Concept from Lil’ Kim?

Hot damn hoe, here we go again: just when you thought the Nicki MinajLil’ Kim drama was over, the Barbz goes and “borrows” something else from her “washed up” rival-idol. Last week, Nicki Lewinsky, the Harajuku Barbie or Roman Zolanski (not sure which character it was this time) dropped the video for her hardcore man-bashing anthem, “Lookin’ Ass Ni**as.” Problem is, the Queen B released a freestyle track back in 2008 talking about the same crusty, weak, trifling “lookin’ ass” boys, with a similar flow. (Strange.) So is Ms. Minaj still steez-stealing from throwback Kim? Things that make you go “hmmm.”

T-Pain Talks Cheating on His Wife and What Inspired Him to Change

If you didn’t know, T-Pain is a married man and has been boo’d up with his wife, Amber Najm, for the past 11 years. (Yes, somebody in their right mind married T-Pain and all his circus hats.) In the March 2014 issue of Sister 2 Sister, the Tallahassee rapper opened up about his man-whorish ways and accepting groupie love when he first became a well-known celeb. T says he finally stopped putting his wife through all that pain when he realized how important his family was to him, and that Amber was there when he was just broke, struggling Faheem Rasheed Najm. Kudos to Mr. Auto-Tune for getting his life on track. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that groupies only want you when you’re in the spotlight.

Kelis Lands New Show on the Cooking Channel

Kelis has been M.I.A. for quite a while, and apparently a major part of her four-year music hiatus was because she’s been focusing on her cooking career. (I know y’all are expecting a milkshake joke, but I’m not gonna do it.) The intriguingly eccentric singer has a line of sauces out called Feast, and just announced—via Twitter—that she’ll be getting her own show on the Cooking Channel entitled Saucy and Sweet (launching February 26).

Not only is the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School graduate (it is not a game) mashing up the kitchen, but she’s back on her music biz with a new album called Food (due out April 22). The LP is themed around the culinary arts, with track titles such as “Jerk Ribs,” “Cobbler” and “Fish Fry Friday.” (When you start naming albums and tracks after food dishes, you’re either hungry as hell or a serious chef.)
