Omarosa Newman’s participation in CBS reality show and competition Celebrity Big Brother looks as if it may give us some intel on her time in the White House. On Thursday’s episode Newman detailed her relationship with former boss President Donald Trump during a conversation with fellow cast member and actress Shannon Elizabeth.

“If we become friends, you’ll see how loyal I am, like maybe to a fault,” the former White House staffer told Elizabeth. “It’s just been so incredibly hard to shoulder what I shouldered for those two years because I was so loyal to a person. And I didn’t realize that by being loyal to him, it was going mean I was going to lose 100 other friends.”

When actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, who’s also a cast member on the show, joined the conversation, Newman said her relationship with Trump was similar to that of Pulliam and her former mentor Bill Cosby. The 80-year-old entertainment mogul who’s been on the receiving end of multiple sexual assault and rape allegations.

“When you’re in the middle of the hurricane, it’s hard to see the destruction on the outer bands, if you understand what I’m saying. And I can say this since you’re asking me, you stood strong by somebody who you have known and have been loyal to and have known for a long time who has supported you. And people judged you for that but only you know the inner workings of your relationship with Mr. Cosby. That’s the same thing with me and Trump. It’s not something that can be minimized.”

But Pulliam wasn’t here for the comparison, telling Newman that she was “comparing apples to oranges.”

“It’s a different situation because this man is running the country and being the voice of a whole country of people,” the 38-year-old continued.

“Yeah, but we held Mr. Cosby up. I mean, his impact on the black community was just as significant. People look up to the Cosbys. That’s the same thing. I will stand firm by that 100 percent,” Newman  retorted.

During a confessional on the show, Newman continued to defend herself:

“So, I’m certainly not gonna sit while [Keshia passes] judgment on me. Because I know exactly who I am.”
