Part one of Hollywood Divas reunion show last week ended with Paula Jai Parker’s husband Forest getting into a heated altercation with Golden Brooks over whether or not she threw drinks. On last night’s episode, Forest apologized to a visibly upset Golden for telling her to “shut up when a man is talking.” He also apologized to Paula’s mom for the harsh words he’s used against her. Thanks to our host Carlos King, Forest is (finally) starting to realize he has a real problem with the way he talks to women.

It didn’t take long for Paula to become a target of all of the ladies to bring up their displeasure with her job as director. We got to see a clip of The White Sistas—which actually looked pretty entertaining to be honest, but that doesn’t excuse Paula from being absent for most of it. Paula broke down to the other girls that it was her selfishness that kept her away, but not in a bad way.

After living in a hotel for so long, she finally got her big break with True Blood and other projects. She couldn’t turn them down, but she was definitely able to complete all of the tasks given to her. I must give it to Paula: if I were living in a Motel 6, I surely wouldn’t turn up a gig on True Blood either. As a matter of fact, I don’t think any of the divas would.

Last night’s reunion was also centered on Countess and her revelations this season. From the cosmetic surgery to her abortion, we’ve seen far more of Countess than we’ve ever seen on an episode of Moesha. Countess once again expressed her past issues with self-esteem, and how she didn’t appreciate Golden calling her mean names in an attempt to treat her like some kind of project. Golden says she doesn’t apologize for caring about Countess’s health and wanting to fix her emotionally. The two hug it out after Golden expresses to Countess over and over that she was truly coming from a place of love and not a place of shade.

Speaking of Golden, viewers find out through a fan Q&A session that the father of her child is none other than D. B. Woodside—the actor who plays Malcolm on Single Ladies. How interesting is that?

Before the closing of the show, the divas are asked whether they would return to reality TV if given the chance. All of the ladies say they were pretty hesitant at first, but they’re happy they did it. Paula said the show taught her a lot about herself and that she doesn’t run from friendships anymore. Countess said she also learned a lot about herself, and in turn, we’ve learned a lot about her. They all agree Hollywood Divas exceeded their expectations, and Carlos King (reunion host and executive producer) revealed that there will indeed be a second season of Hollywood Divas! Can’t wait!
