Prince signs new deal with Warner Bros., will release new music. 

Get your anniversary thinkpieces ready because this summer marks the 30th anniversary of Prince's film and album Purple Rain. But that's not the only good news for fans—today, Warner Bros. Records announced a new agreement with Prince which will result in the release of previously unheard music, as well as a new album.

He will also be releasing a digitally re-mastered, deluxe version of Purple Rain, and has confirmed that Warner Bros. has now agreed to a global licensing partnership which will cover all of his albums from 1978 into the '90s.
