A new BBC Three documentary accuses R. Kelly of “grooming” and sexually abusing a group of young women and one girl since she was 14 years of age.

The Guardian is reporting that the singer’s former girlfriend Kitti Jones is making these claims in the documentary R. Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes.

Jones alleges that she dated Kelly for two years in 2011 in which she was forced to have sexual relations with him and others multiple times in a “sex dungeon.” The 34-year-old says she and other girls were trained on how to behave and groomed for sex.

“I was introduced to one of the girls, that he told me he ‘trained’ since she was 14, those were his words. I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine. That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets,” Jones states.

Jones also claims that the young women were forced to perform sexually with one another. It was also allegedly required that the old “pets” train the new ones on how to please Kelly.

Within the documentary, Jones describes Kelly as “very abusive, physically, mentally, verbally.” She says “I think he gets some sort of satisfaction within himself, knowing that he’s taking control over other people.”

The documentary further touches upon R. Kelly’s marriage to the late-singer Aaliyah who was 15 at the time of their nuptials. These allegations join a list of others made against the singer, who has continued to deny them. Jones spoke out in a Buzzfeed article where Kelly is accused of running a sex cult.
