Ever since her debut to the small screen, former child star turned household name Raven-Symone has continuously reminded us of her equally capable vocal skills. With over twenty movie features, six television series, four soundtrack albums, and four studio albums under her belt at the young age of twenty-six, Raven-Symone has now set her sights on conquering the stage. This March, the actress will star in the Broadway production of Sister Act, playing the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier.

While Whoopi Goldberg played the original Vegas showgirl-turned nun in the 1992 film and sequel, the Broadway production's original Deloris, a vibrant Patina Miller, has lived up to the vivacious character quite well, according to the show's reviews. Raven-Symone definitely has some large shoes to fill, but based off of her comedy chops, acting range, and vocal ability alone, this fledgling thespian is likely to live up to her divine predecessors.

Is Raven-Symone a good fit for the legendary Deloris? Or should Hollywood actors simply stick to the screen?
