Hollywood Divas was all about divide and conquer last night. If you’re totally into 40+ year-old women gossiping and being completely messy, last night’s episode satisfied your appetite.

Golden Brooks and Elise Neal have become extremely close on the show, but Golden can’t help to feel a tad jealous now that Elise has been hanging out with Lisa Wu. I know, it’s childish, but we all know Golden will be Golden… and even the most immature things deserve some attention. Elise assures her it’s no big deal by turning their meeting into a “let’s drag Lisa” session. Obviously, Golden felt better.

Lisa Wu and Paula Jai Parker had a little meeting of their own last night. Paula advised Lisa to beware of “mean girls” Golden and Elise. Elise pretty much gave the same advice when she met up with Lisa later, warning her that Golden doesn’t really check for her much, and that the minute she does something Golden doesn’t like, it’ll cause her to snap. Messy, messy!

It was the night of Elise Neal’s “Elise & Assorted Flavors” dance showcase, and as you’ll recall, Golden Brooks would be joining Elise on stage during one of the numbers. Elise also asked Countess Vaughn to host the event. Apparently, Paula Jai Parker’s invitation got lost in the mail, but no worries, she was going to show up anyway. Paula behaved herself pretty well at the show for the most part. She cheered on, but in her confessional, she talked about how much of a hot mess it was. (I guess the “if you can’t say something nice…” maxim applies here.) And good for Paula, I think.

At the conclusion of the show, Elise thanks Countess for doing an awesome job hosting, but somehow she neglected to mention Golden. But don’t worry: detective Wu was on the job! She caught what she thought to be some type of shade and made it a point to kindly call Elise on it. Elise corrected her mistake by getting back on the mic and thanking Golden, but she couldn’t help but think that Lisa was stirring up trouble.

Later on, the ladies had a meeting to discuss their movie idea. Each actress brought in a writer of their choice, and they’d decide as a group who they’d like to write their new short film. Of course Paula brought her husband, and much to everyone’s surprise, he doesn’t suck at all. (Go figure!) After the meeting, Lisa brought up an issue she ran into with Elise’s Instagram page. You see, Elise posted a photo of she and Golden and captioned it “Me and my fave.” Lisa feels like singling out Golden as her “fave” is dividing the group. Just before the show cut to commercial she was about to get an earful.

Is Lisa a drama starter? I guess we’ll have to find out for ourselves next week.
