Best friends Tiny and Shekinah get their own reality show, and they’re taking their hustle on the road. The BFFs have come up with the bright idea of opening a mobile hair salon, so if you’re in need of getting your hair laid and your wig snatched, pay close attention.

The theme for the episode is clearly “mo’ money, mo’ problems,” as the first thing Tiny and Shekinah can’t seem to agree on is funding. Tiny, being the richer of the two friends, feels as if Shekinah should be mindful of her finances (especially considering Shekinah didn’t put in on the business venture). Shekinah, on the other hand, thinks that since the mobile salon was her idea—and she’ll be doing all the work—that’s all the input she needs. The two meet with a legal mediator to sort out all of the details.

After a bunch of bickering back and forth, they come up with the idea to split profits 50/50 and take their mobile hair salon on a road trip to Los Angeles. These two on the road together doesn’t seem like the greatest idea, but it ends up making for great reality entertainment.

Tiny drops the kids off at her mom’s house, and her and Shekinah hit the pavement in their bubblegum pink school bus. Again, money becomes an issue when Tiny refuses to pay for the road trip snacks. You guessed it! Two grown women are arguing in a convenience store over who is going to spend five bucks on Doritos and Arizona Sweet Tea.

So far, I’m sure we can come to expect a lot of arguing, comedy and hot mess shenanigans as Tiny and Shekinah take their cross-country weave trip through Texas, New Orleans, Mississippi and, of course, LA. If you’re a fan of Family Hustle, expect more of the same packed into a 30-minute time slot.
