Remy Ma’s younger sister is in hot water after allegedly opening fire at a woman in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Remeesha Alesia Blount was arrested in the southern city in connection with a shooting that took place in a bar parking lot. Blount has been accused of taking several shots into a car that carried the victim as well as three other passengers. While the women attempted to flee the ensuing panic, the 27-year-old then, allegedly, hit the victim with her vehicle, according to Complex.

Blount was arrested at an apartment complex five miles away from the melee. The shooting suspect has been charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, three counts of assault with intent to kill, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm.

The victim is believed to be in stable condition, recovering at WakeMed hospital.

It’s difficult to ignore the similarities between Blount’s current legal woes and sister Remy’s previous run-in with the law, as the Bronx rapper was arrested and sentenced to eight years in prison in 2008 after being found guilty of two charges of assault, stemming from an argument with friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph during which Barnes-Joseph was shot two times, according to MTV News.

Remy has since moved on to bigger and better things recently, dropping latest single Melanin Magic featuring Chris Brown.
