Tennis champ Serena Williams is now a married woman, having tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian Thursday in an intimate New Orleans ceremony.
The new mom decided her unforgettable day would have a Beauty & the Beast theme, and she asked guests to dress the part. Plenty of celebrity friends showed up to support the newlyweds, including Beyoncé; La La Anthony; Ciara; Kim Kardashian; Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour; Caroline Wozniacki, Kelly Rowland; Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Lawson, and her husband, Richard Lawson; model Selita Ebanks; and others, according to TheJasmineBrand. New Edition performed at the reception.

Serena Williams and fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian are set to marry this week in an intimate ceremony in beautiful New Orleans, LA.
Page Six reports the new parents will exchange vows at New Orleans’ Contemporary Arts Center. While the pair have been very public in their love for each other and daughter Alexis Jr., they’re determined to keep the ceremony as private as possible, forbidding guests from posting images or video of their nuptials on social media, according to TheJasmineBrand.
Williams is said to have signed a deal with Vogue, giving them right’s to release her official wedding photos.
Celebrity guests include close friends Ciara, Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony and Eva Longoria, as well as Serena’s sisters including fellow tennis star, Venus Williams. The athlete is also good friends with Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle, who is also expected to attend.
