Shonda Rhimes is moving from the small screen to the printed page.
The creator of Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Scandal has signed with Simon & Schuster to write a memoir, the publisher announced. The book will trace Rhimes' decision (prior to coming to Hollywood) to build a family and the challenges of being a single mother while striving for professional success.
Publication is scheduled for 2015.
