Star Jones recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a festive bridal shower. The New York City bash brought out the attorney and former talk show host’s best friends, including Vanessa Williams.
The multi-talented diva sweetly serenaded the bride-to-be during the shower, with one attendee capturing a clip of the precious moments between girlfriends.
Jones is engaged to Ricardo Lugo, who recently worked in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, according to The Chicago Tribune. The pair went public last July at the 8th Annual Children’s Museum of the East End Family Affair in Bridgehampton, New York.
“This is my family,” she told PEOPLE, introducing the Lugo and his son. “I’m not married, but we’re together.”
She’ll be a married woman again soon enough, as the couple were engaged soon after.
Jones was previously married to former Wall Street executive Al Reynolds from 2004-08.
