On portraying Nelson Mandela: “People are going to judge me for this role,’ he said. ‘I don’t look like Mandela, some say I don’t deserve it. Whatever. For me, it’s important I am who I am, as I present this piece to the world. I’m 40 and I’ve had a great career. I’m alright to be myself at this point. Look, if I never work again, I don’t care. I did my bit, you know?” [The YBF]

Despite going to his house to go upside his head for talking crazy on Twitter, Rocko says he is praying for Gucci Mane. In a recent interview, the rapper explained the day he showed up at Gucci’s house: “I pulled up. That’s what real men do. Real men address their issues head first. It aint no situation where Ima run from nothing. That was my ace. When all that took place I was in awe. I was like, whoa. Nah that ain’t my homie. So I pulled up. We had a conversation or whatever. But homie, he going through some things so I just ask everybody to pray for homie. Hopefully he’ll be better. I ain’t going to hold no grudge because I don’t feel like I can continue to be blessed from doing that.” So bow your heads and pray for Gucci’s blessing? [Crunk + Disorderly]

Remember when Montana Fishburne made a sex tape thinking she would become rich and famous like Kim Kardashian? Neither happened, only we’re only now finding out just how screwed Montana was in the end of her porn deal. Yes, that’s a bad pun, but it’s being used in the context of a bad idea. It’s only right.

Anyhow, Montana said: “Vivid told me they would give $125,000 and 25 percent of the back end, all the sales that are made. Basically, you’ll never see the back end after advertisement. You won’t get the money. It’s a very untrustworthy business.” So what did she end up with? Per an insider, “Lawrence Fishburne’s daughter got burned really, really bad. She got $60,000 dollars and never saw another penny.” [Rhymes With Snitch]

Mo’Nique is in talks with ABC for a daytime talk show that would launch fall 2014. You know, because we don’t have enough of those already. Good luck to you, sugar, but I’d rather you see on the big screen in a quality role. Then again, Hollywood has Zoe Saldana as Nina Simone, so I get it. [Shadow + Act]

Khloe Kardashian is rumored to have told Lamar Odom that she’s about to divorce him ‘cause he abandoned her and love don’t live here anymore. [Radar]
