With today’s release of authors Jeff Benedict’s and Armen Keteyian’s Tiger Woods biography, talk has already turned to adapting the highly anticipated read for the small screen. Alex Gibney of Jigsaw Productions reportedly has his sights set on turning the book into a docuseries, according to The Hollywood Reporter (THR).

Both authors are set to executive produce the television special, showcasing their three years of reporting on the champion golfer, as well as combing through the over 400 interviews conducted for the comprehensive bio.

THR sources report Gibney “will use the book as a foundation to portray Woods’ early years as an introverted child prodigy, his meteoric rise as a mixed-race golfer, nearly 20 years of dominating national titles and his struggle with the demands of fame, media attention and family.”
